Mithali Raj wants women's IPL next year

BCCI can’t “wait forever” to introduce the women’s IPL, said India women’s ODI captain Mithali Raj, and urged the board to make it a reality as early as next year, initially on a smaller scale before developing it on a large scale. After India had lost the T20 World Cup in the finals earlier this month, former captain Sunil Gavaskar had demanded a full-fledged women’s IPL from next year to unearth more talent.
