Melbourne Stars all-rounder Marcus Stoinis has been named as the Big Bash League Player of the Tournament after a sensational season with the bat. Sydney Sixers’ Tom Curran grabbed the second spot while Sydney Thunder opener Alex Hales ended in third place. Stoinis scored 607 runs with 5 half-centuries and a stunning 147 unbeaten against the sixers. It’s the highest individual total in the history of BBL.
