Long-distance runner Kiranjeet Kaur, who won the Tata Steel Kolkata 25K among the Indians, has tested positive for a banned substance Ostarine and World Athletics has provisionally suspended her. The 31-year-old clocked 1:38:56 to finish 11th overall and first among the Indians at Kolkata 25K last December. She had also won a bronze in 10,000m at Federation Cup National Championships last year in Patiala.
