Shreyas Iyer was not retained by the DC ahead of the 2022 IPL mega auctions. Rishabh Pant was appointed as the skipper of the Delhi Capitals (DC) side for the 2021 edition of the IPL, and Iyer, who captained the side in IPL 2020 was also released from the franchise. And now, a report in the Times of India has stated that the KKR would like to rope in Shreyas Iyer into their side as a captaincy option.
