Kickboxing fans came from all across Thailand to witness a major Muay Thai match at Bangkok’s indoor Lumpini Stadium on March 6 and in return dozens or more left for home unknowingly carrying the coronavirus. The excited boxing fans led a substantial rise in infections this month. Till Friday, confirmed cases from three boxing stadiums in Bangkok remain 72, more than a fifth of the national toll of 322.
