Kenyan marathon star Wilson Kipsang booked for breaking virus curfew

Kenya’s world marathon record holder Wilson Kipsang was arrested after police caught him drinking and playing pool with a large group during a nighttime curfew set amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Kipsang, who set the world record in 2013 Berlin marathon, is a police officer who now has now been sent to provisional suspension from the World Integrity Anti-Doping Unit. He was released on Friday on bail of $47, 43 euros.
