The Jharkhand-Tripura Ranji match brought back memories of Dravid and Laxman’s 2001 heroics. Batting first Tripura scored 289. Then, Jharkhand were all out for 136 & were on follow on. Ishank Jaggi & Saurabh Tiwary stepped up as Jharkhand was in trouble to put up a double-century stand and declared at 418 for 8. Jharkhand won the match by 54 runs. It’s the first time in Ranji a team won after being asked to follow on.
