Ishant Sharma, who reached New Zealand only 72 hours before the first Test after passing the fitness test, scalped his 11th five-wicket haul to guide India to bowl out New Zealand for 348 in their first innings. His eagerness to keep learning has received praise from former Australia fast bowler Jason Gillespie. Incidentally, the Aussie pace great had helped the Indian pacer when he was struggling to take wickets.
