Italy suspends all sporting activities due to virus outbreak

All sports in Italy have been suspended until April 3 to control the spread of coronavirus, country's Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte has announced. This includes Serie A but not Italian clubs or national teams competing in international events. Serie A has already said all games will be played behind closed doors. Italy has been the European country worst hit by coronavirus so far, with over 9,000 confirmed cases.
