As per the latest development, the broadcast of IPL 2021 is banned in Afghanistan due to ‘anti-Islam content. With the cheerleaders dancing during the game and the presence of barred-hair women in stadiums, the Taliban-led Afghanistan government believes IPL matches are endorsing content again their faith. Hence, the UAE leg of the gala tournament won’t be telecasted in Afghanistan.
