Commonwealth Games champion Vikas Krishan (69kg) settles for a silver medal at the Asia/Oceania Qualifiers following an eye injury pulling him out of the final in Amman, Jordan. He was supposed to face Jordan’s Zeyad Eashash in the summit clash. The Indian boxer sustained the cut on his left eyelid during the semifinal bout against Ablaikhan Zhussupov of Kazakhstan before claiming a split decision victory.
