Indian weightlifter Seema banned for 4 years after failing dope test

Commonwealth Championship silver medalist weightlifter Seema has been banned for 4 years after failing a doping test. National Anti-Doping Agency revealed Seema’s dope sample was collected during the Women National Weightlifting Championship in Vishakhapatnam this year. She had won a silver medal in the 2017 Commonwealth Championships and finished sixth in the women’s 75kg competition at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
