Indian Archers forced to skip Colombia World Cup due to flight delays

The Indian archery team could not board the flight to Medellin in Colombia, as a major embarrassment for the 23 member contingent team & were forced to pull out of the season-opening stage one of the World Cup that begins on Mon. They were slated to board Royal Dutch Airlines KLM872 from Delhi to Amsterdam due to operational issues. The flight was delayed by 2hours 53 minutes. There were no alternate flights, so had to skip.
