After the loss, Dravid was questioned if BCCI should reconsider its decision and send Indian players to foreign leagues to get used to the conditions like all other teams. Dravid mentioned that Indian domestic cricket and the Ranji Trophy would be under threat if BCCI sends Indian players to participate in foreign leagues and felt that Test cricket could bow out as well.
