Rishabh Pant‘s lawyer Eklavya Dwivedi has revealed the reason behind his client trusting the tainted U19 cricketer Mrinank Singh and falling prey to his fraudulent activities. Dwivedi explained that the two have known each other since 2013-14. He said that Rishabh was approached by Mrinank in 2020 or 2021 as the latter claimed that he started a new business in luxury items.
