FIFA has decided to suspend the President of the Spanish Football Federation Luis Rubiales for kissing Spain midfielder Jenni Hermoso on the lips during the trophy presentation in Sydney after the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023 Final in which Spain beat England 1-0. Rubiales has been handed a suspension for 90 days and has also been ordered not to contact Hermoso for the duration of his suspension.
