Euro 2020 has been excluded from the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) recommended ban on Russia after Moscow was found guilty of falsifying laboratory data delivered to investigators. As per reports, WADA doesn’t see European championships as a major event or a world championship. So it’s been exempted from the 4-year ban from on Russia. Saint Petersburg is one of 12 venues across Europe set to host Euro 2020 matches.
