Ellyse Perry has created history by becoming the most-capped player in the T20 World Cup. The Australian all-rounder achieved the feat against South Africa in the group stage of the mega event. It was the Australian cricketer's 40th appearance in the mega event. Reaching a new landmark, Perry went past India Men’s team captain, Rohit Sharma, who has played 39 matches in T20 world cups from 2007 to 2022.
