The first Test match between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka played at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chattogram has ended in a draw. Both teams put their 100% effort, but a result was not possible with Sri Lanka being on 260/6 in their second innings at the end of Day 5 play. With the first Test match ending in a draw, the focus will now shift to the second Test match slated to be played on May 23.
