Shikhar Dhawan said the main reason behind India’s crushing defeat to Australia in the 1st match of the ODI series was the loss of 4 quick wickets in the middle phase of their innings. The India opener made a gritty 74 off 91 balls but Australia bowled India out for 255. Dhawan also revealed India were targeting a total of at least 300 runs. He admitted in the bowling department too India couldn’t take early wickets.
