Cricket Australia has announced a parental leave scheme to let cricketers in its women's team remain in the game while raising a family. The policy has 12 months' paid parental leave for cricketers who give birth and a confirmed contract extension for the next season so they don’t lose hope on returning to the sport. The policy also includes provisions for male cricketers, including three weeks' paid parental leave.
