Coronavirus: Plea in Madras High Court against IPL matches

A PIL, by advocate G Alex Benziger, has been filed in Madras High Court urging central government to not allow BCCI to host the IPL 2020 from March 29 to May 24 because of the coronavirus outbreak. The PIL will come up before a division bench of Justices M M Sundresh and Krishnan Ramaswamy on March 12. BCCI president Sourav Ganguly has already insisted the 13th edition of the cash-rich tournament won’t be postponed.
