Cheteshwar Pujara became the first Indian to play for Gloucestershire in 25 years after the star batsman joined the English club for the first 6 matches of the English County Championship. The last Indian to play for Gloucestershire was former pacer Javagal Srinath, who scalped 87 wickets in one season in 1995. Pujara’s county stint will be from April 12 to May 22 during the IPL as he is not part of any franchise.
