National Anti-Doping Agency has handed former Asian silver medalist boxer Sumit Sangwan a one-year suspension with immediate effect for failing a dope test. Sangwan, who was a key member of Indian boxing contingent in the 2012 London Olympics, now can’t participate in the Olympic qualifier trials. He has tested positive for acetazolamide, listed as diuretics and masking agents under S5 of WADA’s 2019 Prohibited List.
