Bengaluru police have arrested a bookie for trying to fix the Karnataka Premier League matches. An FIR was registered against Bhavesh Bafna and Sanyam, two bookies, for allegedly approaching one of KPL franchise Bellary Tuskers’ bowlers to fix a match. The latest arrest comes days after police nabbed the team owner of KPL franchise Belagavi Ali Ashfak Thara for his alleged role in a betting ring linked to Dubai.
