The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will allow five overseas players in the Playing XI in the inaugural edition of the Women's Indian Premier League (IPL), as confirmed by Cricbuzz. Interestingly, IPL allows the teams to field a maximum of four foreign players in the final XI. Meanwhile, the WIPL is expected to take place between March 4-26.
