Bangladesh wicketkeeper-batter Mushfiqur Rahim has surprisingly announced his retirement from the T20I format though he will be available for the ODIs and Tests. The 35-year-old represented his country in 102 T20Is where he scored 1500 runs at an average of 19.5 and a strike rate of 115. He did not have the best of tournaments in the ongoing Asia Cup 2022 where he scored 1 and 4 in the two innings he played.
