Australia beat New Zealand by 296 runs in first Test

Australia secured one of their biggest wins against New Zealand on the fourth day of the Perth Test. Having trailed by 250 runs on the first innings the Kiwis were given a huge 468-run target to win, which would have been a record chase, after Australia declared at 217 for 9 in their 2nd innings. However, New Zealand were all out for 171 and were beaten by 296 runs, the last 5 wickets were gone for just 17 runs.
