An Olympic bronze medalist and US national champion in figure skating, Ashley Wagner chose to speak up and told that she was sexually assaulted by ex-figure skater John Coughlin; when she was 17 and he was 22. Coughlin killed himself at 33, a day after he was suspended from US Figure Skating by the US Center for SafeSport, which investigates all forms of abuse in sport. Coughlin had denied the wrongdoings.
