Argentina has suspended all sports events till March to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus. The South American football giants were scheduled to host Ecuador at the end of March in their first qualifier for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. Argentina is among the few Latin American countries who have directed the isolation of travelers from Italy and Spain amongst other countries amid the virus outbreak.
