Afghan cricketer threatens to expose ‘corrupt’ players

In a series of tweets, former captain Gulbadin Naib has claimed corruption is rampant in the Afghanistan cricket team. He also threatened to ‘name and shame’ all the players for ‘betraying’ country. Naib, who led Afghanistan at the 2019 World Cup earlier this year, also made a shocking allegation that a few cricketers intentionally underperformed at the ODI World Cup just because he was announced as the skipper.
