The former Formula One driver & 3-time world champion Niki Lauda died overnight at the age of 70, 8 months after receiving a lung transplant. Lauda who won titles in 1975, 1977 & 1984, was hugely admired, respected & liked within F1 after a remarkable career during which he won 2 titles for Ferrari & one for McLaren. He competed in 171 races, won 25. He was an exceptional driver, brave & uncompromising but with fine judgement.
