White House loses Trump’s trusted Counterterrorism Official

Speculation is rife that a high-level counterterrorism official at White House has stepped down from his position from the National Security Council. Chris Miller from Army’s Special Forces who served in Afghanistan will return to the Defense Department. Miller, NSC’s senior director for counterterrorism, was influential during the raid in Syria that gunned down Islamic State leader Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi in October.
