Nine influential US senators have come up with legislation in Congress that aims to authorize the President to impose sanctions on China if it doesn’t cooperate and provide a full report of the events in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak. The COVID-19 Accountability Act, authored by Senator Lindsay Graham and co-sponsored by eight others, was introduced in the Senate, the upper chamber of Congress, on Tuesday.
