Trump-Kim discussion about tortured Americans caused backlash in US

Donald Trump said he believed Kim JongUn's word that the North Korean leader had no clue about the capture and torture of an American college student in the North Korean custody. The 22-year-old student returned to US in coma and died shortly after. Trump said that the North Korean leader came to know about the case later and that Trump believed the words. The US citizens did not believe it though.
