With regards to the 2 recent shootings in Texas and Ohio, President Trump has urged social media companies to develop tools that could detect potential mass shooters before they strike. He directed the Dept of Justice to work in partnership with local & federal agencies as well as social media companies. Trump seems to suggest using predictive software to single out potential shooters based on the activity on the platform.
