Trump pays $2m to charities for misuse of foundation

US President Trump has paid a whopping $2 million to 8 charities in a settlement which saw the president admitting that he misused funds raised by the Donald J. Trump Foundation for the promotion of his presidential bid and pay off business debts as well, the New York State Attorney General has revealed. The lawsuit was filed last year and since then it has been a long-standing legal battle and finally it ends.
