In a fresh salvo against the BJP central leadership, Trinamool Congress questioned the silence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the ongoing violence against Hindus in neighbouring Bangladesh. "We wonder why the Prime Minister of India, who went to Bangladesh to pay his respects during the polls, went inactive from the beginning," TMC mouthpiece Jago Bangla said. TMC also called for a proper probe into the incident.
