Govt proposes to extend exemption available for the purchase of affordable houses & to provide tax exemption for affordable rental housing projects. Tax holiday proposed to be extended for one more year for start-ups , said Nirmala Sitharaman. Revised custom duty structure will be Introduced. Over 400 old exemptions on custom duty to be reviewed, Nirmala Sithraman added.
