Sweden announces nearly $50 Million in aid for Ukraine

Amid the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine, Sweden on Thursday announced nearly $50 million in aid to Ukraine. It also said that it is considering sending Leopard tanks to Ukraine. Swedish Defense Minister Pal Jonson said that Stockholm is “open” to providing Kyiv with Leopard tanks. Sweden has also announced 520 million Swedish Krona ($49.9 million) in aid.
