Sri Lankan MP Rishad Bathiudeen, his brother arrested in connection with Easter Attacks

Top Muslim leader and member of parliament, Rishad Bathiudeen has been arrested by the Sri Lankan police in connection with the 2019 Easter Sunday attacks. Bathiudeen, leader of the All Ceylon Makkal Party, has been taken into custody under the Prevention of Terrorism Act. Bathiudeen's brother Riyaaj was also arrested in pre-dawn raids on their homes in Colombo. As many as 279 people had lost their lives in the attack.
