Social Media won't be able to abuse Indian election process: IT minister

The Information Technology minister Ravi Shankar Prasad has said that Social media platforms will never be allowed to manipulate or abuse the Indian election process due to stringent measures. Dept of telecommunications secretary Aruna Sundarajan has also said in this matter that India is not going to blanket the messaging apps or social media and instead they are going to take the right step to stop misusing social media.
