Global defense expenses hit $1.82 trillion, India up by 3.1% while Pak up by 11% in 2018

World's military expenditure increased by 2.6% reaching $1.82 trillion in 2018, with the US & China accounting for almost half of it. India's military spending went up by 3.1% to $66.5 billion while Pak's grew by 11% to $11.4 billion. The data shows- the world's largest spender the US raised 1st time to $649 billion since 2010 & China, the world's 2nd largest spender went up by 5% to $250 billion for the 24th consecutive year.
