Senior judge creates history! Becomes first Woman President of Greece

Ekaterini Sakellaropoulou is the daughter of a Supreme Court judge and she is also a senior judge and the first woman to head the council of state. She has created history by becoming the first woman President of Greece. A cross-party majority of 261 MPs voted in favor of her and she will be taking her oath of office on March 13th. Greek Presidents confirm govt and laws and has the power to declare wars.
