Supreme Court has stated that it cannot convert their petition against the rejection of anticipatory bail by the Delhi High Court. As per SC's statement, Chidambaram should move regular bail before the CBI court which sent him to CBI custody for four days on Thursday. SC stopped entertaining the plea petition for the former finance minister. The CBI had lodged an FIR alleging him for irregularities in the Foreign Investment.
