Report: WHO withheld virus info after China pressure

WHO has slammed a media report that says it withheld information about the COVID-19 following pressure from China. A German magazine reported a telephone conversation between WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus and China President Xi Jinping in January but WHO says it’s unfounded and untrue. The report said Xi asked Tedros to hold back information about human-to-human transmission and delay declaring a pandemic.
