Range of Agni-5 missile reduced by 500 km by DRDO: Congress

Hours after India successfully test-fired surface-to-surface strategic missile Agni-5, the Maharashtra unit of Congress claimed the Narendra Modi government reduced the range of the missile by 500 km. Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Sevadal too to Twitter to claim that the first successful test of Agni-5 was conducted on April 19, 2012 and the range of the missile was 5,500 km. The test-firing of the missile was done at around 7:50 pm.
