PM Modi addressed the nation at 9 AM on Friday during which he made a major announcement that his government has decided to repeal the three controversial farm laws. "We have taken a big decision to repeal the three farm laws," the PM said during his address to the nation. PM Modi said that the three laws were brought for the benefit of farmers but "we couldn't convince a section of farmers despite best efforts".
