PM Modi to open 1st multi-modal terminal on Ganga and Varanasi ring road

To promote environment-friendly ways of transportation PM Modi is to inaugurate the first multi-modal terminal on Ganga river today as a part of the centre's Jal Marg Vikas project. The National Waterway-1 will get financial and technical support from the World Bank. In another event, PM will also inaugurate the Varanasi Ring road phase I, which will reduce travel time from Varanasi to the airport.
