In a major relaxation of norms, the pension regulator Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) raised the entry age for NPS from the current 60 years to 65, on Monday. The notification giving effect to already approved changes will be issued shortly, said Chairman PFRDA Hemant Contractor. "The aim is to open up pensions to sectors that are without pensions," he added.
